The nearest hospital is around 20km away in Emmaus and the cost of the taxi fare to get there means that patients are often unable to seek medical advice when they need it.

 

We are lucky that a mobile clinic from Emmaus hospital visits Isibani once a fortnight. On site rooms and the mobile vehicles provide facility for:

• Counselling & Testing for HIV/ Aids and TB

• Women’s health

• Children’s health

• Collection of HIV , TB and other regular medications.

 

Any required referrals are then sent to Emmaus hospital.
